Official Notice: Stage 6 Agriculture Syllabus - minor amendments

The Stage 6 Agriculture Syllabus has been amended to clarify the expectations of the content.
Implementation of the amended syllabus will commence in 2014 for the Preliminary course with the first HSC examination based on the amended syllabus in 2015.
Key amendments to the syllabus include:
- replacing ‘such as’ with ‘including’ in 12 of 23 locations to clarify breadth and depth of content
- replacing ‘or’ with ‘and’ in 3 locations to improve consistency
- amendments to text regarding OHS, test of significance and improvements to consistency between options.
The amended Agriculture syllabus is available to download from the syllabus section of the Board’s website.
