Official Notice: Revised Stage 6 Hospitality Curriculum Framework syllabus

The revised Stage 6 Hospitality Curriculum Framework syllabus based on
version 2 of the nationally endorsed SIT12 Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package is now available.
Key features of the revised syllabus include:
· access to Certificate II qualifications in Hospitality and Kitchen Operations
· access to Certificate III qualification pathways in Catering Operations and, for school-based apprentices, Commercial Cookery
· simplified syllabus format
· new format for describing the HSC Content
· new HSC examination specifications.
Implementation of the revised Stage 6 Hospitality Curriculum Framework syllabus will commence in 2014.
The first Hospitality HSC examination based on the revised syllabus and examination specifications will be conducted in 2015.
