Official Notice: Management of anaphylaxis in schools - amendments to syllabuses

K–6 and 7–10 syllabuses have been amended to support the development of students’ knowledge and understanding in the management of anaphylaxis.

The Key Learning Areas and syllabuses affected are:

Technology:

Implementation of the amended syllabuses will occur by 2014, with the exception of the Science K–10 (incorporating Science and Technology K–6) Syllabus. Teachers are to follow the implementation timetable published on the Board’s NSW Syllabuses for the Australian curriculum website for this syllabus.

The amended syllabuses are available to download from the Board of Studies NSW and NSW Syllabuses for the Australian curriculum websites.
