EOIs sought for Stage 6 Preliminary work sample collection project

The Board is seeking expressions of interest from teachers across subjects for Stage 6 Preliminary to contribute to a project that will draw from the work their students have undertaken in 2012 or early 2013.

The Record of School Achievement (RoSA) requires schools to award grades to students at the end of their Preliminary courses. As this will occur for the first time in 2013, the Board is undertaking a project to support schools in awarding grades for Preliminary courses.

The project will involve collecting a range of work samples that relate to syllabus based assessment activities. The work samples will be aligned to grades and published on the Board’s Assessment Resource Centre (ARC) website.

The work will involve teachers administering tasks related to their programs and collecting work samples representing a range of levels of achievement.

Teachers or staff groups are invited to contact Tracey Shaw to register their interest and learn more about the project.
