EOI: Work sample collection project to support grading for Stage 6 Preliminary courses

The Board thanks teachers for their interest in contributing work samples to assist with grading of Preliminary courses.

Further expressions of interest are encouraged from all subject areas, but are especially needed for 2 unit Mathematics, General Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Modern History courses.

The project involves collecting a range of work samples that relate to a syllabus based assessment activity. The work samples will be aligned to grades and published on the Board’s Assessment Resource Centre (ARC) website.

It is anticipated the nominated teachers will use a task related to their current Preliminary course programs and collect work samples representing a range of levels of achievement.

Interested teachers or staff groups should contact Tracey Shaw to register their interest and learn more about the project.
