Schools Online is now open for the submission of VET course competency outcomes and work placement hours for all 2013 HSC students studying a VET course.

This information should be submitted via the Vocational Education (VET) heading on Schools Online. Principals should check that all relevant teachers have the appropriate Schools Online access to enter this data.

In cases where a student studies a VET course at a TAFE or private Registered Training Organisation (RTO), the home school still has the responsibility of ensuring that the qualification, competencies and delivering RTO/TAFE is correctly entered on Schools Online. While some private RTOs and TAFEs are able to submit competency data directly to the Board, it remains the responsibility of the student's home school to check and verify all data entered.

The closing date for submitting this information is Friday, 8 November 2013.
