This year’s practical marking development day for HSC Visual Arts teachers will take place on Saturday, 5 October 2013, from 9.30 am to 1 pm, at the Sydney Showground, Olympic Park. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, 26 August 2013.

The event is designed to provide Visual Arts teachers who are unable to participate in marking with an opportunity to view the benchmark works and speak to senior markers about the nature of the submissions, marking practice and other related issues. After participating in this session, teachers will be able to better support their HSC students when working on their Visual Arts bodies of work.

The NSW Institute of Teachers has endorsed the session as providing accredited professional development.

The cost is $130, and tickets can only be purchased online and in advance.
