The Board is still seeking Chief Examiner applications for the following HSC examination committees for 2014:

VET
Electrotechnology

Languages
Indonesian
German
Modern Greek

Chief Examiners chair examination committees, which are responsible for the development of the examination paper(s) and marking guidelines for HSC courses. They also have responsibilities in the marking and standards-setting processes.

Chief Examiners need to be available throughout the examination development and marking processes. The number of meetings will depend on both the nature and the number of papers involved, but will require a commitment of at least twelve days. Training will be provided.

The deadline for Chief Examiner applications for the committees listed above has been extended to Monday, 26 August 2013.
