TES Australia

Many primary teachers are already enjoying the free digital resources available on the TES Australia website, to which the Board of Studies NSW is a content partner.

Currently on the TES Australia website there are over 570,000 free resources for teachers. These resources are linked to subject areas, topics and stages of schooling so you can easily search and find resources related to what is happening in your classroom. You can also upload and share your own resources on TES Australia and engage in online forums with other teachers.

If you have not yet joined TES, visit http://www.tesaustralia.com/teaching-resources/.

Another good feature available on TES Australia is the calendar of upcoming events. Each event has activities and resources available on TES Australia. Upcoming events for October include:

  • Floriade
  • World Space Week
  • World Teachers’ Day
  • World Habitat Day
  • Labour Day
  • National Nutrition Week
  • National Children’s Week

Linking your teaching to such events can increase understanding and enjoyment as students engage with learning in a known context.
