Principals, or their delegates, can now use Schools Online to advise the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards (BOSTES) of any 2014, Year 11 or Year 12 school leavers.

Year 11 and Year 12 school leavers are students who are leaving school or who left school during Term 1, 2014. These students will receive the NSW Record of School Achievement (RoSA) if eligible, or a Transcript of Study if not eligible for a RoSA.

The RoSA credential allows students to accumulate their academic results up until the date they leave school.

The 2014, Year 11 students who leave school before completing any Preliminary courses will receive a credential. It will show the grades they were awarded for their Stage 5 courses, and participation in any Stage 6 Preliminary courses in which they are enrolled at the time of leaving school.

The 2014, Year 12 students who leave school before they have completed any HSC courses will receive a credential. It will show the grades they were awarded for their Stage 5 and Stage 6 Preliminary courses, and participation in any Stage 6 HSC courses in which they are enrolled at the time of leaving school.

RoSA requests for Year 11 or Year 12 school leavers can be submitted via the Schools Online > Enrolments > Nominate RoSA School Leavers function.

Please note that the next Literacy and Numeracy test window for prospective school leavers is from 22 to 28 May 2014, and entries will open on 28 April 2014.
