Revised format for 2016 HSC English Standard and Advanced Paper 1 written examination

The format of the HSC English Standard and Advanced Paper 1 written examination has been revised for 2016 to include a separate stimulus booklet.
The revised examination format will comprise:
- An examination paper containing questions for Sections I, II and III
- A separate stimulus booklet containing all the texts for Section I of the examination and the list of prescribed texts for Section III
- A personalised Paper 1 writing booklet.
