Course: Modern Hebrew Continuers Date: Wednesday October 21, 2009, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Candidature: 39 (as at 1 September 2009) The paper consists of three sections: Section I - Listening and Responding (30 marks) There are two parts in this section. In Part A (20 marks), students listen and respond to recorded texts in Hebrew. Questions are in English for responses in Hebrew. In Part B (10 marks), students respond to questions on two texts in Hebrew. Questions are in English and Hebrew for responses in Hebrew. Section II - Reading and Responding (30 marks) This section has two parts. In Part A (20 marks), students read two texts in Hebrew and answer questions phrased in English, for responses in English. In Part B (10 marks), students read a short text in Hebrew. The task is phrased in English for a response in Hebrew.
