Fact sheets and planning templates for VET Hospitality teachers

Fact sheets and course planning templates for the Hospitality Curriculum Framework have been developed for teachers to use in their planning for the delivery of HSC courses for 2011.

A fact sheet and course planning template have been developed for qualification pathways in both Certificate II in Hospitality and Certificate II in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations). A range of sample course planning templates have also been developed for each qualification pathway.

The fact sheets include advice about meeting requirements for both the HSC course and AQF VET qualification packaging rules. The course planning templates will help teachers to ensure course planning meets both the HSC course requirements and AQF VET qualification packaging rules.

Further information including frequently asked questions about HSC course and qualification requirements for Hospitality is also available. Schools and colleges should also refer to their RTO manager for further advice.
