Official Notice - Revised Stage 6 Legal Studies Syllabus

BOS 02/10 The revised Stage 6 Legal Studies Syllabus (2009) is now available on the Board's website. The revised syllabus will replace the Stage 6 Legal Studies Syllabus (1999) and will be implemented in 2010 for students undertaking the Preliminary course from the syllabus. The first HSC examination based on the revised syllabus will be in 2011. Teachers will continue to use the existing syllabus (1999) for students studying the HSC Stage 6 Legal Studies course in 2010. On the website are:
  • the original syllabus approved in 1999 (which remains current for the HSC course and examination in 2010)
  • the revised syllabus (for the Preliminary course in 2010 and the HSC course in 2011)
  • a guide to the changes to the syllabus.
Effective: Commencement of 2010 Preliminary course.
