Teachers can provide feedback on the proposed guidelines for Design and Technology and Industrial Technology folios and HSC Projects by completing the Board’s short online survey.

Following consultation with teachers, parents and students, the draft guidelines were developed due to concerns about the size of some folios, the size and cost of projects and the excessive amount of time spent on both by some candidates.

The guidelines suggest a page limit for folios as well as providing advice about format, project size, inclusion of multimedia and the use of models and prototypes.
