Remember to check VET course exclusions

Principals and training providers need to check course exclusions before entering students in an HSC VET course to ensure students meet the required pattern of study to be eligible for their Higher School Certificate.

Exclusions are applied to HSC VET courses where there is significant content overlap with other HSC courses. They are applied at a course, rather than unit of competency, level. Students cannot study both the courses listed where an exclusion applies.

Read VET course exclusions for further details of exclusions applying to VET industry curriculum frameworks and Board Endorsed VET courses.
