The Board of Studies will introduce a new application process for School Developed Board Endorsed Courses. From 2012, applications for new School Developed Board Endorsed Courses and for the renewal of expiring courses will be made through Schools Online.

School staff responsible for submitting applications will need to be granted appropriate access to Schools Online by principals. The online application process will be available from early March 2012. To support schools the closing date for applications has been extended to 7 May 2012.

Schools with School Developed Board Endorsed Courses expiring at the end of 2012 will be informed in writing and invited to make an application for renewal.

The Guidelines for Course Proposals will be published on the Board’s website prior to the applications opening on Schools Online and will be located at www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/manuals/#becguidesbooklet. These Guidelines will provide general information about the application requirements and the Schools Online application process.
