Official Notice: Revised Stage 6 Electrotechnology Curriculum Framework syllabus

Electrotechnology teachers
The revised Stage 6 Electrotechnology Curriculum Framework syllabus based on version 1 of the nationally endorsed Electrotechnology (UEE11) Training Package is now available.
Key features of the revised syllabus include:
- access to Certificate II qualifications in Electrotechnology (Career Start), Computer Assembly and Repair, Data and Voice Communications, Technical Support and Sustainable Energy (Career Start)
- access to Certificate III qualifications in Data and Voice Communications, Electrotechnology Electrician and Electrical Fitting for school-based apprenticeships
- simplified syllabus format
- new format for describing the HSC Content.
Implementation of the revised Stage 6 Electrotechnology Curriculum Framework syllabus will commence in 2013.
The first Electrotechnology HSC examination based on the revised syllabus will be conducted in 2014.
