New support materials for Life Skills Years 7-12

A series of videos and guides are available to provide information and advice in relation to students undertaking Life Skills courses in Years 7–12.

The videos and guides cover:

  • eligibility and the decision for a student to access Life Skills outcomes and content
  • case studies showing the decision making process in action
  • planning and programming for Life Skills courses
  • assessing and reporting Life Skills outcomes and content.

The videos and guides can be used for staff professional development, to assist the collaborative planning process, or to provide parents/carers with further information.

The new Life Skills videos and guides replace the support document Life Skills Years 7–10: Advice on Planning, Programming and Assessment and can be accessed from the Board’s website.
