Results Analysis Package (RAP) automatic subscription

A recent change has been made to the way in which schools subscribe to RAP.

As a direct result of feedback from high school principals, schools with HSC candidates will be automatically invoiced for RAP in Term 4 each year. RAP will be available on the day of HSC results release to those schools that have paid the invoice before that date.

Schools that do not want to receive RAP can either:

  1. advise the Board by email at publicationsales@bos.nsw.edu.au
  2. ignore the invoice.

RAP is an excellent tool that enables principals, heads of departments and teachers to effectively analyse their results. The package allows results to be viewed easily by multiple users at the same time. Additional features provide improved data analysis and extraction. For example:

  • the ability to combine questions in a course to see how students have addressed particular concepts
  • the ability to group particular students to analyse their results
  • frequency distribution of students’ results for individual items.
