More than 70,000 students commence HSC written exams next week

The Board of Studies NSW wishes all students sitting for the 2013 HSC written exams, which start next week, all the best.

The President, Tom Alegounarias, reminds students they have already completed half of their HSC having worked hard throughout the year completing assessment tasks, which contribute 50 per cent of their HSC mark.

Students are encouraged to visit the Tips and Tools section of Students Online for study materials, tips and exam information, including rules and procedures, equipment lists, and what to expect in the exam room and paper.

A reminder to all students that public transport timetables change on 20 October for rail, bus and ferry services. Students should visit www.131500.com.au to plan their public transport journey to their exams. Students should arrive at their exam centre at least half an hour before the first English exam and at least 10 minutes before all other exams. Students should contact their school Principal if they experience a delay when travelling to exams.
