Applications for 2014 HSC examination development positions are now open. Available positions include Chief Examiner, Committee Member and Examination Assessor.

Teachers and academics with appropriate experience and qualifications are invited to apply to take part in the development of the 2014 HSC examinations. Setting or assessing HSC examinations is a rewarding and challenging experience that provides a positive contribution to professional development. It is an opportunity to further develop understanding of assessment techniques and to enhance skills in setting examinations.

Chief Examiners, Committee Members and Assessors cannot teach the course/s for which they are applying in 2014, or be closely related to someone sitting the examination in 2014.

Applications close on the following dates:

• Chief Examiner applications – Monday, 22 July 2013
• Committee Member applications – Friday, 23 August 2013
• Assessor applications – Friday, 22 November 2013
