This year, the Board will hold two practical marking development sessions for Year 12 teachers – one for Textiles and Design, and one for Visual Arts.

The purpose of the sessions is to provide teachers of Textiles and Design, and Visual Arts with professional development related to the submission and marking of HSC Major Design Projects and Bodies of Work. The NSW Institute of Teachers has endorsed both sessions as providing accredited professional development.

The Textiles and Design practical marking development evening will be held on Friday, 6 September 2013, from 5 pm to 7.30 pm at the Exhibition Centre, Rosehill. The cost is $100, and tickets will go on sale on 12 August 2013.

The Visual Arts practical marking development day will be held on Saturday, 5 October 2013, from 9 am to 1 pm at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. The cost is $130, and tickets will go on sale on 26 August 2013.
