Visit the Texstyle exhibition at Darling Harbour
The Texstyle exhibition will be on display at the Craft and Quilt Fair, Darling Harbour from 12 – 16 June 2013.
Recognising excellence in design, innovation and creativity, Texstyle features over 40 outstanding major design projects from 2012 HSC Textiles and Design students.
The projects represent the breadth of skills that students can gain through the HSC Textiles and Design course across a range of focus areas – apparel, non-apparel, costume, textile arts and furnishings.
Due to the diversity of the course’s focus areas and students’ interests, Texstyle showcases designs that will inspire all – from sculptures, costumes and accessories to furniture embellished with different textile elements and techniques.
If you don’t get a chance to visit Texstyle in Darling Harbour, it will be on exhibition at:
- Craft and Quilt Fair, Exhibition Park in Canberra, 8 – 11 August 2013
- The Stitches and Craft Show, Newcastle Entertainment Centre, 15 – 18 August 2013.
