The practical and performance examinations for this year’s HSC examinations have begun.

Society and Culture marks the commencement of the examination period, with the PIPs due to be handed in electronically by students on Monday, 29 July 2013. The oral examinations begin with Modern Hebrew and Korean language oral examinations on Thursday, 1 August 2013. The performance examinations start with Dance on Monday, 5 August 2013.

Hard-copy student identification cards have been sent to schools for appropriate submitted works. School-specific marking dates for Industrial Technology and Dance have been posted on Schools Online.

School-specific marking dates for Drama, Design and Technology, Music, and Visual Arts will be made available on Schools Online approximately two weeks before marking for the subject begins. The principal and the coordinating teacher for the subject will be sent an email when this information is published.

Schools are reminded to check Schools Online for information, instructions and contact details relating to all practical, performance and oral examinations.
