Update on Australian curriculum and NSW syllabuses
The President of the Board of Studies NSW recently sent a memorandum to NSW schools providing an update on the development of NSW syllabuses incorporating Australian curriculum content.
This memo reiterates the implementation schedule for the new K–10 syllabuses for English, Mathematics, Science and History, as well as outlining plans for other K–10 learning areas and senior secondary syllabuses.
Teachers and principals are reminded that all NSW schools are required to teach syllabuses produced by the Board of Studies NSW.
