Awarding grades in Year 11
The Board is developing new resources to support teachers in awarding Preliminary course grades.
Teachers and school administrators are reminded that in 2013 grades are to be submitted for each student for the Preliminary courses they have completed (other than Life Skills and VET) by 25 October 2013.
Assessment activities and associated student graded work samples (A–E), including teacher annotations and commentaries, have now been published on the Board’s website for the following Preliminary courses:
- English Advanced
- Modern History
- PDHPE
- Visual Arts.

More Year 11 assessment activities and graded student work samples for other subjects will be published in 2013 as they become available. Further subjects will be included in 2014.
