Additional sample tasks and related work samples for the Stage 6 English Studies course have been added to the Board’s Assessment Resource Centre (ARC).

These work samples will assist teachers in aligning assessment marks with the expected standards described by the English Studies course performance descriptions. Each sample is accompanied by a commentary that describes aspects of the sample that relate to performance as described in the English Studies course performance descriptions.

The performance descriptions have been developed to describe the standards to be used for reporting student achievement at the end of the HSC year.
