EXAMS END FOR 2016 HSC STUDENTS

The HSC is now over for more than 70,000 students.

On this the final day of the 2016 HSC over 5,000 students sat the last three exams: Business Services and Modern Greek Beginners in the morning, and Design and Technology, the last exam of the year, in the afternoon.

BOSTES President Tom Alegounarias said, “Students should feel a huge sense of accomplishment in completing their HSC. It is the culmination of a lot of hard work and determination.

“The end of the written exams marks the end of a 13 year school career for students and the start of the next exciting chapter in their lives as they look forward to work, training or university.

“They can feel proud of having risen to the challenge of the HSC and getting across the final hurdle, as well as a well-earned sense of relief that it is all over now.

“The HSC is demanding but it leaves students well prepared for life beyond school, and I wish them all the best for the future.

“All HSC students have achieved this significant milestone and, whatever their results, there are a huge number of opportunities waiting for them beyond the school gate,” said Mr Alegounarias.

Students can login to Students Online to get their school assessment ranks from 3pm today and will receive their HSC results from 6am on Thursday 15 December.
